Eu Sou a Minha Casa e Todas as Velhas Sombras que a Habitam reflects on a personal level to understand the moment of moving. That is, leaving one place to re-open another. Moving has not only physical consequences but emotional ones as well, whether due to family additions or economic necessities. Each house seems to represent different times and experiences that are entirely related to the emotional, social, and economic needs of the household. It is important to note that all these houses are located in the same place in the suburbs of the city of Porto - Gondomar. The paths around each house intersect and seem to create affective relationships that weave together the different heaviness, memories, and feelings that each of these dwellings represents.
