(Axelle’s Stone Soup)

Drawing from an artistic investigation into childhood play and the possibility of reclaiming these gestures within adult everyday life, Letícia proposes an exercise in affective reenactment: she invites Axelle Camille to recreate her favourite childhood game — “cooking” Sopa da Pedra. What unfolds is a relationship between memory and imagination, where gestures from childhood are retrieved as forms of expression, care, and play. The act of playing becomes an artistic practice, in which the time of childhood intersects with the present moment.
This film was produced within the context of the course A Nebulosa 2.0, organised by Rua Escura Productions, under the coordination of André Gil Mata, Cláudia Ribeiro, and Frederico Lobo.
