Nos gestos onde o amor habita é um projecto que se debruça na reflexão do acto de cozinhar e quais as suas intenções neste gesto. O livro apresenta uma dualidade entre o registo fotográfico do ritual de oferenda à Yemanjá - Deusa dos Mares do Candomblé -, e os textos que acompanhando as imagens e refletem acerca do acto de cozinhar, quais as intenções depositadas nesse gesto e a ritualização desse gesto doméstico. Há no ritual uma ideia de manifestação a partir do acto, deste modo, na performance exploro a ideia do acto de cozinhar como um momento de manifestação do amor, carinho e afeição que se tem ao cozinhar para alguém que se ama. Valorizando também o tempo de cozedura da comida, há uma intenção meditativa para quem acompanha a performance se sentir presente no momento, apurando a sua audição, olfacto e paladar.

Nos gestos onde o amor habita is a project that focuses on the reflection of the act of cooking and its intentions in this gesture. The book presents a duality between the photographic register of the offertory ritual for Yemanjá - Goddess of the Seas from Candomblé -, and the texts that accompany the images and which reflect on the act of cooking, which is the intentions displayed in this gesture and the ritualization of this domestic gesture. In ritual there is an idea of manifestation from the act, therefore, in the performance, I explore the idea of the act of cooking as a moment of manifestation of love, affection, and affection that one has when cooking for a loved one. Valuing also the food's cooking time, there is a meditative purpose for those accompanying the performance to be present at the moment, sharpening their sense of hearing, smell, and taste.
